I think the derbies will lack something without Newton, Cockayne, Lauaki and Briscoe v Fox. More pantomime villains required as part of Rovers recruitment.

Dobson and Green will give us direction and hopefully a younger pack will have a bit more energy. Much as those players will be missed, we had become a bit one-paced.



Galea would make a decent captain. O'Hara and Withers have plenty of experience. Wheeldon, Welham and Horne should be well past the hand-holding stage.
