I don't think it's a ploy. I don't think he's smart enough to come up with that as a money making scheme. He's just an idiot but he's not the first talented sportsman with an inbuilt desire to self destruct and he won't be the last. If FC sign him an a 1 year with an extension clause it's a win- win for them, and good luck to them. He did let Rovers down, and that was well before his trip home. The game in the 8's against Leeds was there for the taking, but several bad decisions on the last play by him were obvious. Was it just an off day?
