As for the game, was really impressed with Rovers tonight and kn that showing can see you in the MPG and having a 50/50 crack at going up. Complete game of 2 halves with KR more than good value for the lead at HT. Excellent kicking game and intensity in defence and you looked a threat with ball in hand as well.



We obviously got the half time rocket and came out fired up and overran you first 20 in the 2nd half. It was only then that the rain came down and both teams started to make mistakes making it a nervy last 20. Despite the MPG nonsense and some of the mud slinging, I'd like to see KR back in SL next year and on tonight's showing you've got a really good chance.

As both teams are working on the same cap, confirms that the correct team won the MPG .



Despite a ref who awarded 2 dubious tries to HKR, Salford started to play in the second half and show the difference between SL and championship.



The 3000 travelling HKR fans. Which meant the East stand was opened just for them, turned out to be mythical and was hundreds not thousands. On TV the empty east stand was opened for the massive HKR support! (I assume Neil Hug will shortly release a statement, accepting responsibility for the massively inflated HKR fan numbers and accepting the cost of opening an extra stand?)



Anyway. Good luck in the middle rights and I suppose the lesson is you need to be able to play for the full 80 mins, and Sheens isn't all that after all.

I am normally not a person who posts on other fans boards or spends time berating clubs on Twitter but after some of the comments from Hudgell. JP, and all your fans who (like Leigh last year ) think being top of championship makes you special. I will take time to come here and ask a few questions!

1) we know Salford does not have great crowds, but where was the 4000 HKR travelling support? The east stand was opened just for you and was empty! The north stand was less than half full! ( For the MPG it partly blamed Salford for inflating numbers - tonight you had 5500 places and 500 showed up.

2) thanks to Leigh last year. You have the same cap as a SL team, so why where you taken apart ( does Sheens only work for 30 mins)

3) 2 dubious tries, but hey ho!

4) like Leigh 2 years ago, your fitness is suspect. You ran out of energy after 30 minutes.



You are a good championship side,but not sure how you will do with the big boys.

Salford are spending over the salary cap you fukw1t, anyone with half a brain cell can work out that cockrash is giving back handers to players there. As for this finding it difficult against SL crap, that Salford team will probs finish top 4 this year, so I'm not worried. Rovers will get promoted without the need for the mpg. Missing a few players, we came close tonight, had it been at craven park, we'd of probably beat your boys. Feel sorry for your club a bit, doing everything they can to make RL a big deal in Salford an still you get shocking crowds. Unfortunately, you'll disappear when the cock man leaves.
