Training begins for Manchester’s new Rugby League club on Monday March 30th at Broughton Park Rugby Club, Hough End, Chorlton, in South Manchester.
The Mancunians are playing in this Summers Merit League and are looking for players from all rugby backgrounds and abilities as the season approaches.
Broughton Park Rugby Club is situated just off Mauldeth Road, in the heart of South Manchester, close to the M60 & M65 Motorways and is on the corner of ‘Hough End’, home to Manchester’s largest sports facility consisting of 24 football pitches and 3 rugby pitches.
Training will be taken by Seb Rowe who is acting coach until the imminent appointment of a Head Coach for the 2009 season.
Sessions will take place under lights and players are asked to arrive at 6.45 for 7.00 start.
