Yes mate,if we get a team that is. We only had 15 on saturday, picked up 2 injuries and im working this saturday, so we may have a bare 13. Loads have lads have dropped off (hence the drubbings this past few weeks).

Oh god dont say that....do you have any idea how hard it is to follow Hindley in the Fixtures.....they put a big score against someone....we get a 18-0 the next week!! It has happend twice already this season!!!! We Have only played two home games up to now!!!!

We (Newton) should field a team. We haven't conceded points for that reason this season and don't aim too. Although I do admit we're depleted at the moment.

There's nothing more fustrating than a team giving up points for any reason, especially for not raising a team. Like Danny mentions above, we have players missing but we should raise a team regardless. It's just the front row we're struggling on I think.



Anyway, I'll be stand off and skipper on Saturday. Make sure you give me a shout.

Out of interest are Newton RU still going? They used to have a good team, last time I played against them they ran 3 open age sides, vets and down thruogh all the junior age groups to under 7's.

Newton RU have just two open age sides and that's it I think.



Neither side actually train at all, they just turn up on a Saturday and always have numbers to raise two teams which is baffling.

NEwton RUFC first team is top of their division, 2nds are 4th in their league. Like alex said, never train but manage to get 30 odd lads every saturday...and win!!
