| Haha, don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.
This was not that refs 1st game he has been doing it a good few years. He was awful (for both teams) but he is not the reason you got beat. Best team won on the day

| Hindpool 26-22 Wildboars
Good even game I thought. Boars were better 1st half and Hindpool ha the better of the 2nd.

| not far of with them predictions shawy
pilks 14-34 bamber bridge 34 scrappy game at time and ref didnt help either team and never let the game flow, not our best game too many mistakes with ball in hand and spent most of the game defending a good 70% but in the end we got there and scored some good and scrappy trys but 2 points away from home is always good
half way through now and the league is tahing shape now 4 teams at the top battling it out hindpool been on a good run and portico are still there next few weeks with everyone playing each other going good end to the season xxx

| What's peoples predictions this week?
Some good games in store. We wont have it easy at Cadishead as we have a few missing due to suspension, holidays, injuries etc.
Portico should win easy probably 40+ and Culcheth shouldn't have too many problems against Woolston but think the other games will be a lot closer
Eccleston Lions vs. Portico Vine - Portico
Cadishead Rhinos vs. Hindpool Tigers - Hindpool
Woolston Rovers A vs. Culcheth Eagles - Culcheth
Wigan St Patricks A vs. Bamber Bridge - Brig
Pilkington Recs A vs. Accrington Panthers - Pilks

| Another epic battle with the wild boars at the weekend finishing 8-6 to us. Both teams defended like warriors and think we just about deserved the win. Ref had a shocker as well and he agreed he needed help of linesmen in the game like I think a few have in a couple of games this year. Another great crowed well over 400 people

| Interesting divison this season and certainly one of the most competitive although I can see some big wins this week.
I'll go with:
Portico by 28
Hindpool by 34
Culcheth by 24
Bamber Bridge by 16
Pilks by 16

| I do yes. We (Eccleston Lions) Have withdrawn from the Division for this season. From last season we have lost 15 1st team players and have been playing with a very young side this year and have found it difficult in most games. The Club thinks it best, If we withdraw from the league and re-enter at a Lower Level whilst we are in the re-building phase. Division 2 has some very strong teams and it's not an ideal place to blood Youngsters.
