Good news indeed.

Pretty impressive CV on LinkedIn - started with 5 years running communication for the Gurkhas (among others) in Hong Kong, then stints of Programme Management and Engineering for various telecoms companies, including being Managing Director of Marconi and Senior Consultant for O2. Over the last few years he has been a Business Transformation Consultant for (among others) Tunstall Healthcare and npower.



Looks like a lot of very useful experience, and a social conscience - to quote his profile:



"Opportunities Ken is looking for: Joining a nonprofit board; Skills-based volunteering (pro bono consulting)



Causes Ken cares about: Children; Civil Rights and Social Action; Poverty Alleviation"

It's good he's had a stint at a Featherstone Rovers too, a club similar to ours.

Impressive CV I'm sure he will do well with us but most importantly it gives Mark more time coaching which can only be a good thing. Great move by the club

Both had Ken Jones and Tubbs working for us ?

I was thinking more both top-end Championship sides with aspirations for Super League.

And there the similarity ends. Featherstone own their own ground, with all the opportunities and obligations that entails. We don't even have a ground. Featherstone have a huge catchment area stretching as far as Rawmarsh (apparently) with a century long tradition of watching Rugby League. We don't.



The businesses are very different.
