Well it was a bridge too far. To be honest we didn't really turn up, but it shouldn't take away from a tremendous season and a tremendous achievement to make the final. We dropped too much ball and the defence, particularly down our left, wasn't really up to scratch. How the ref only gave two yellows for that scrap is beyond me!!

sheffield looked poor today - Fev balsted them early doors and the scores just before and after half time nailed it!

Disappointed that Sheffield didn't make more of a game of it - I can't recall one clean break all game!



SSheffield have exceeded expectations this season. Fev have lived upto the tag of favourites! C'est la vie. An enjoyable day out. I just wished there had been a few more of you there.

Just watched the fight back, how on Earth did Tonks stay on the field? Disgrace.

If we're talking about disgraces what about Stringer's knee to Saxton's throat while he was being tackled, not only a disgrace, but cowardly aswell.

I can't comment as I've not seen it back, was stood right in front of the big screen so couldn't see it on there but the Fev fans seemed to think it was bad when it was replayed.

I was surprised that the officials only gave Tonks a talking to, he ran 25 metres to throw lots of punches, granted they all hit fresh air, but the intent was definately there.



The knee to the chest as as bad and should have been dealt with severely, that could have been very damaging.

Donot think Tonks would last long in the boxing ring. Got to agree Stringer should have been sent off !

owt n nowt on both counts. A few handbags throw - no-one hurt - sin bin correct tho looking at it (Bob only recorded the highlights for me) it did look like Joe threw the 1st one and got away with it - but ne'er mind. No harm done.
