If this is true and Powell does go to Cas then Fev are losing a superb coach in my view. All joking and banter aside you have got to give him a lot of credit for what he has done at Fev regardless of our rivalry with them and obviously other issues. He has taken them to the next level from where they were in terms of performance etc. Good luck to him even if he doesnt like us i say!

Was at the rovers ground yesterday with brighouse u13s. I wondered why a lot of the fev players looked gutted, I thought they had just had an hard training session

He's done a better job at Fev than at Fax and Cas tho!
I don't think we should put our eggs in the basket of Fev being in turmoil. We've caught them on the pitch just about, now we need to better them in other areas, make old Faisal throw his toys and go somewhere else!
They are the benchmark right now, we have to raise our game above theirs, not hope they lose moment |

I'll ditto this even though I can't for the life in me see what is there for him and how this could be classed as a move up.
Big loss to Fev, yes it would be for any club but they will survive and I'm sure they will attract a lot of interest from some good coaches.

I get the feeling Powell was pushed out at Fev to a degree and left because he was not too happy with certain things. Quality coach who transformed Fev and I am glad to see them where they are now compared to just a couple of years ago before Poweel came in.
Top club and some good people following them like the Overtons, Robin Alan Glenn etc who I am fortunate to know. Each club has idiots including ours. But each club also has people like I have mentioned who love their rugby and club. I hope for them Fev do not go backwards.
One name I am hearing as coach is John Bastian who was Warrington and Leeds Academy coach and played at Fev. Fev like any club are more than one person. And I hope Fev stay strong and continue to be our great rivals in this league as we have seen some fantastic games and the atmosphere is top notch.

Flipping eck call my biased but as a Fax fan I DO hope Fev go backwards as I want US to be the dominant force in the Championship and top the league with just one or two defeats, come on lets be honest we want us to win things and at the moment Fev are favourites with us a close second, lets hope this knocks them back a bit. |
