Got to say yesterday summed up our season in the 80 minutes.
We started well and looked like the winners, gave away the ball letting them back into it, conceded a fairly soft try, came back at them but again gave them the ball and lost the game.
One thing we must learn from this year is to protect the ball in our own 20 better and not try score from every pass in our own half at times.
Hey I have really enjoyed the style we have played in this year but we have been too cavalier at times which has cost us the league leaders trophy and the Grand Final.
Barrow did it yesterday, Whitehaven do it to good effect and they have the habit of beating us, I don't want to play like them but we should have played it safer at 10-0 until half time.
Hey ho we will learn.
Watching the game back on TV noticed how difficult it is now coming for players like tamghart and worrincy to hold the ball in one hand with defenders targeting the ball and also stealing in the tackle think they may have to alter the way they hold the ball because it seems to be both these two on a regular basis.On worrincy think he deserves a new contract some raw potential to tap into.
