Hunslet players on $40k while a few of the team are on bug-ger all. Maybe he should speak to some of his colleagues and realise how well off he is. He could be working on a coffee plantation with them

He didnt particularly light up our league, although he did come good towards the end. Agreed, I would like to see him doing the same as he did at the end of the season from the start !! I cant see any chance of him getting into the NRL at this stage in his career.

What do you think of Shad Royston then?

I feel Shad was way more commited to our cause. This guy's left before being made an offer. Mind you, if he keeps his form up through next season I wouldn't imagine there'd be much ill-feeling if he left.

Everyone has the right to further their career, just like Royston has done. Aizue explains that it is his dream to play in the NRL, even more so after the chance he had when he couldn't speak English. If he does get an offer as a result of his performance against the Aussies he'd be mad not to take it.

True, but I think he could have phrased it better. You'd usually get the soundbyte of "but I've still got a job to do where I am" or something along those lines. He just sounded like Cartman. "Screw you guys, I'm going home".

No he didn't !!! The reporter phrased it that way, As we always say, Journalism is there to sell papers, Do not beleive everything you read. If he gets a offer, good luck to him, he stuck with us all year when no doubt the perverbial hit the fan with Gene, coming to training from Hull on the train and did us proud at the end of the season. Good luck to him if he stays and even better luck if he gets the chance he deserves.

I think I am with you there. I cant see him getting an offer, but if he did I would wish him well, after all at 32 his playing career is getting shorter and he has to do what is best for him.

Ahhh but maybe he's looking to follow the example of Ryan Tandy. Even former Widnes and Whitehaven journeyman Aaron Summers made the Brisbane Broncos squad on a few occasions last season.

Like you said though, he's got a very slim chance.
