As a Fev fan I am not happy about it but understand why the BOD have agreed to it. We employed a coach that put a huge squad together and spent the full cap The club then decided to part company with the coach and have realised the the squad he put together is not good enough Making the decision to let some leave ( not yet confirmed ) the only way we could strengthen was to DR to avoid breaking any rules Although I am against DR I would also not of been happy if my club had burried it's head in the sand and we had allowed things to continue to go wrong on the field. This would of caused the club to lose its fan base that had increased over the last few year and we would of been complaining about the style of rugby we were watching I do hope its a short term fix until next year and details from the club have not been released yet so no one is sure what has been agreed

I despise the DR system. Look at our forum and I think you'll find most of us haven't changed our minds on the subject. But when JB went on his shopping spree he recruited some right poo. The rfl then changed the structure of the comp meaning a top two finish is vital for this season. Given injuries and less than effective players the only manner of getting new players in under the cap is now thru dr. I don't like it. I don't really want it. BUT... needs must. I want us to finish top two this year more than I want us to abstain from dr. Utilitarianism.... reluctantly it makes
