Enjoyable day out and good victory which really sets next week up as an all or nothing encounter..Did think Barrow were in end of season mode though and their defence was pretty woefull throughout,but we capitalised really well.

Barrow is always one of my favourite away days and when the team wins like that it is a nice bonus. This week's game is big for both sides regards getting into the top 6 hopefully Fax can get the job done.

Couldn't get to the game Sunday but just watched full game back on YouTube. Barrow weren't great, but Fax generally looked to play well other than a short spell just after half time.We do look to gave a strong pack, especially at prop and backed this up with a good showing from the halves, especially Hanson who I've been critical of on occasion but who was excellent yesterday. Nofoaluma is absolute class - I'll he amazed if we can hang onto him but would love to see him here next year. Thought Tibbs was also really strong bringing the ball out from the back, looks to have rediscovered the form and confidence  he showed a couple of seasons ago . Widnes will be a tougher challenge but really looking forward to it now.

Off thread. Where is Jouffret? Has Eastwood taken his ball home as Louis has said he is leaving? 

But where would he play, particularly based on recent weeks performances. Plus from rumours about, JWH is leaving with him, but he still gets in

Think we all agree Kyle got the 1 and 6 the wrong way round.Jouffret was hit and miss at fullback and got dropped a couple of times when clubs found him out,so not surprised he's chosen to leave.Someone has to play halfback with Hansen whether JWH is staying or not.

*Hansen... one of the least effective halfbacks i've seen in a Fax shirt for years. If I was LJ, i'd bugger off too.

Totally agree,but with no money to change it we're saddled for next 2 years.Hansen showed signs of a running game last Sunday...don't know where its been all season unless it's coach instructions..

From all accounts LJ was always wanting to go anyway at end of this year, so we will have to get used to being without him. TBF, in first 7 games the 1 and 6 choices worked well and complimented the way we wanted to play. I don't think either JH or LJ have the out and out quality at HB. JH is more structured, but sometimes too much, whilst LJ alongside some brilliance is prone to errors and not an organising HB.
