When the squad was fully fit he wouldn't have even got a sniff.

The Club got what it needed from his sale......cash.

And what have the club done with that cash?

Seems to have sorted himself out at Hull. Made a fairly quiet start but for the last 3 months or so he has been outstanding, especially when playing at 13. We might have paid a little over the odds for him but I dont care because I honestly think he will be the backbone of our club for a considerable length of time.

I could be wrong but think we used the cash for full planning permission for Glasshoughton?

Always makes be laugh seeing our bitter fans having a go at Joe, labelling him as rubbish etc. What is more annoying is that Joe had to go to another club to find his form. Both him and the Cas club were at fault. We gave him too much freedom to end up being an idiot while he wasn't professional enough to keep his mind on his rugby. Shame really because he could have gone down as one of the Castleford greats had he stuck with us. He's now playing well at Hull and looks like they are getting the best out of him.



He's still a Cas lad and a Cas fan though, always will be.

Wouldn't say he's improved at Hull. He's better now than when he left Cas but about the same as he was the previous season so at the moment the deal looks good for both parties. Suspect it will look better for Hull as time goes by and Joe fulfills the enormous potential that many of us believe he has.

rubbish ...... in his current form he is better than any of our forwards . he didnt succeed at cas because like a few others he was allowed to go of the rails without any proper guidence/advice. Hull clearly have a more professional attitude towards lifestyle as you can see by the body shape of their players.
