Depends what we can afford.



We know we'll have Thompson's salary and probably Nash's freed up for players.

If we can keep hold of Rangi and Clarke and Thompson does move to FC then I think we need to be looking at a Half Back and a Centre mainly. Then we just needed to tighten up a few more positions to have a bit of depth.

I wonder if we are actually on the look out yet. Players seem to be moving around left right and centre but it's all quiet down at Cas

Carlos Tuimavave could be the player to be announced in August, once the NZ Warriors confirm their signing of Tomkins. He is out of contract and not going to be playing in their 1st team with a half-back pairing of Shaun Johnson and Kevin Locke (plus Thomas Luilaui as hooker/half back cover) and Tomkins at full-back. He is only 21, has captained the NZ Toyota Cup team to two grand final victories and played a number of times for the Junior Kiwis.
