What's your favourite scrap during a game or the dirtiest challenge?



One scrap at Headingley springs to mind for me v Widnes when Izzard walked for it but I'm sure there are many more examples from here and overseas.



Anyone remember Tamati clothes lining Les Dyl in the challenge cup tie v Widnes at Headingley.

I'm pretty sure John Holmes is aware of Chris Arkwright.

Actually, Holmes took a lot of punishment so he was a toughie.

I dont really class people like Les Boyd or Tamati hardmen because they were just thugs.



People like Jim Mills and Vince Karalius were true hard men

No disrespect to Mills intended, but I'm sure his career record of 13-odd sendings off contained the odd act of thuggery.

Brian mcdermott in recent times was a hard nut, remember when he floored about 3 of our lads. Shane webkie and gordan talis were also fairly hard and the latterfairly dirty

Mark Glanville would be up there for me.

Kevin Ward and Keith England, were too very uncompromising hard players.

Brian Lockwood. Played for Widnes, Hull KR, Castleford, Canterbury-Bankstown, Balmain, and of course Great Britain, part of the 1972 world cup squad and winner of Lance Todd Trophy in 1980 for Hull KR.

One for the backs - Dean Bell (don't remember him ever being dirty but was hard as nails)

I remember a fight during an academy game quite a few moons ago where every man on the pitch was involved and it spilled into the South Stand, that was quite tasty
