Not really been that impressed with him in a Leeds shirt. Went well for hudds though. From a friend in the dressing room he isn't a good influence at all.



But should go ok for you. He will be playing for a contract somewhere

He never brought his Huddersfield form to Leeds.

For me its that's famous watching them on sky for a couple of games and thinking he's not bad but then u sign them and watch them every week and u get to see why he's not playing week in week out....

He's been average wherever he's been IMO. Even at Hudds.

If Griffin's on a one way ticket and Singleton isn't ready, we need another prop.

JP, Kylie, Bailey, Kirke, and Moore, plus Achurch who can play there. Do we really need another squad player?

Judging by the Leeds/Salford teamsheet, we've got one. JJB.

Based on his one full season last year I'd say through the regular campaign he didn't look out of place amongst the rest of the forwards. He had some reasonable games but gave a few penalties away at times. I never came away from a game thinking "wow, Griffin was great today", but I never thought that about any of our forwards as they were monstered by some of our bigger rivals. He got himself a World Club Challenge winners medal and a Grand Final winners ring, was in the 17 every week when fit, so I'd think his exclusion from the team and subsequent farming out on loan is due to something rather than his playing ability. Reading Mcdermotts comments in the article that was uploaded a couple of days back probably corroborates that.
