Saints fans no longer do anything but boo and sigh. There is no spirit left at KR for me. We need the extended spell of medocrity we're headed for to realise what we once had, to let us see how good it was. We've been taking it for granted for years now.

Utter bollox is all I can say to that.

I actually agree with Potter (which Lumpy aptly pointed out). The atmosphere is a atrcious at times.

It's not. KR is like a morgue for a non-Wigan or Warrington game. Atmosphere against all the other teams = Zero. I've not seen a 'KR bounce' since Anderson left. Might be to do with us having no strike players and playing an awful style of rugby but it's true.

It is quite obvious to me that what Potter was actually saying there is:

1) Your mother is a dirty prostitute

2) Your dad is Jonny welly

3) I hate you all

4) I am actually employed by Wigan

5) er....

6) I am a pod person from Mars

7) Please bring your babies to the game on Friday so that I can eat them

I'm pretty sure he would agree on points 3 and particularly 5 if you spoke to him.

it's not a new thing to be fair.. as long as message boards have been going, there's always been comments about there being no atmosphere at 'lesser' games

Well, not quite. The first match of last season - against Wire, funnily enough - was a bit springy. I believe Leeds at KR was lively too. Since then, though, I think Saints fans have been replaced by cardboard cutouts.
