SAINTS have named their 19-man squad for Friday's First Utility Super League clash at Hull KR.
James Roby, Matty Dawson and Shannon McDonnell have been called up for the game after recovering from injury.
Morgan Knowles, Theo Fages and Greg Richards all miss out.

Lets hope McDonnell is fit to play...we need him! I'd personally prefer to see Richards in the 17 than Tasi on performances to date, at least Richards tries when he plays. Tasi has been our worst forward so far this season imo and offers very very little in both attack and defence.

I've got no passion for this current crop of players and the only player I've looked forward to seeing in Fages is sat in the stands every week while we have plodders doing sweet f##k all at 6 every week. Don't expect people agree with me.

I,m going to leave it to see where we are after the Easter Weekend, I was losing interest in general with Superleague latter end of last season with very little intensity in matches and entertainment. Probably not bother with a season ticket next season and become a fickle fan until we get some quality players. Might start to watch the academy and reserve lads instead, more chance of seeing Fages play in those games. |

Really surprised with the Fages exclusion, just can't put my finger on it. I'm thinking a communication/organisational issue is the reason why he's not been playing 6 or 9...
Great to see McDonnell back, if he's in the squad, he's good to go (ok, not as fit as the others, but 100% fit to play so straight back in for me).
But then the inclusion of Dawson....I mean KC really does keep us guessing. Do not tell me it'll be Dawson to centre and Turner to stand off - PLEASE NO!!! |

I very nearly never bought my season ticket this year. I think it was the fages signing in the end that convinced me as I thought he'd bring some excitement.
Last year I was bored out my mind at games and very often wasn't even watching the game properly.
If this boring one man rugby carries on it will be my last season ticket. |
