I'm not convinced, it makes sense that Saints don't want to splurge the cash on an NRL fringe player when they've got 2 or 3 good young halves on the fringe of the first team, but why waste a quota spot? |

"Apparently" as in his agent talked it up to get him more wedge. Our chairman has said on several occasions that he wont be getting anyone in to replace long as we have young players ready to fill the gap |

That's what I thought.
Good deal for Dobson. He'll be on a decent wage and has three years to really build a reputation, while still being young enough at the end of the deal to return to Oz and have a tilt at SOO/International duty if he wants to. |
