Chris Irvine has just tweeted that Shenton has flown to Melbourne with the team today, but will returning home early. His 4 Nations tour looks to be as good as over.

If Mcbanana doesnt call Martin Gleeson up,te wants binning...while he is at it...get Senior to come with him then at least our centres will be bloody decent.

Not sure that you can call players up after the comp has started. Gleeson should have been in the 24, no question.



Looks like either Clubb or Cudjoe to line up against Aus. Maybe even Widdop, with Tompkins reverting to full back. Hardly fills you with confidence though, does it!

Once the tournament has started you can't bring in any new players. Looks like we will have to go with Clubb and Cudjoe (sp)

Shame for shenton, shaky start yesterday (as did most of the team) but grew in confidence and stature and went on to be one of our better players on the day. And to see he played so well whilst carrying the injury is testament to his attitude and toughness. Bad injury for England in my opinion. Don't really know much about club but cudjoe is very agile and quick, not too sure whether he'd be up to it defensively but there's only one way to find out! Other option would be widdop to centre Sam to full back and brown and Robinson at 6&7.

Cudjoe doesn't play for Hudds in the centres does he? Thought he was a fullback/winger?

Cudjoe plays anywhere from 1-5 as far as I know.



Regardless, we're screwed. I though the Aussie centres were poor today, I dread what we're going to put out.
