| Fantastic turnout. I made it 25 - 6.
Cadishead seemed to struggle with the conditions more than Irlam. They dropped too much ball, and hardly completed any sets. good game though, in awful conditions.

| I had it as 21 - 6 to Hornets which is backed up by the league website.
I`d agree to much dropped ball by the Rhinos , Irlam handled the conditions better and were deserved winners in the end.

| it was a great game both teams played the best they could in the conditions they found themselfs, I thought the tribute to simon at the start of the game was excelent the turnout was rather good I cant wait until the next one, well done to both teams hornets and Rhinos

| I was exceptionally proud to have been involved in the occasion today. The atmosphere was superb.... Never seen that for a game at amateur level... and the fact that 2 local sides could generate that feeling was nothing short of amazing.
Hornets deserved the win today... we gave up too much ball... but from a plus side... the way my team conducted themselves today was a credit and I'm extremely proud of them.
