This saturday coming is a local derby of Irlam Hornets vs Cadishead Rhinos it promises to be a huge game but most importantly its in memory of simon annis a salford lad who passed away recentley serving for our country.

Please get down and support both teams and help raise money for a good cause, it promises to be a good match with the 2 teams not facing each other for a good few years.

I was going to start a thread myself about this, so I'm pleased to see this on here.



I think this game is going to be huge. Both teams seem up for this tie... with league points at stake and a cup to win... it couldn't be any bigger in my opinion.



I don't think I've felt this excited about a game for years... I guess being assistant coach at the Rhinos gives it an extra edge for me, but for everyone involved at both clubs... it's something we've all been waiting for.



I hope both teams can put on a quality game without any problems... and both stand proudly to remember Simon.

Hi, goin to come and watch this, is the game still on? all our pitches have been closed cause of the weather.

The Cadishead pitch has superb drainage and should be absolutely fine... Yes I know it's Irlam at home... but it's the same pitch.

the final score was 19-6 i think, it was a very physical game from start to finish



my game only lasted for 5 minutes though because i thought i had dislocated my finger, turns out its broken
