With respect Cavendish Street I feel that your heart is undoubtedly in the right place but your head sometimes isn’t. Some of the points you make in your posts/blogs are well-founded but others I think are considered by some as discriminatory and based on conjecture or hearsay. Furthermore I question if your opinions could have been influenced by friendships with players, some of which had their own personal agenda’s.



My advice would be to accept that any changes you’d like to see happen immediately are totally beyond the control of LWS. A demanding and slanderous, clenched fist approach will achieve absolutely nothing.



Without wanting to appear condescending I think you are the kind of person the club should consider re employing when/if under new ownership. I think your undeniable enthusiasm and passion for Salford City Reds could be an invaluable asset if channelled a little differently.

I Absolutley agree with your post, Sometimes I think my opinion and statements are too emotionally charged and not always factually correct and as you rightly pointed out could be down to many discussions that were borne out of frustration and vendettas. I think the mistake I made was when I was employed by the club back in 2005-2007 I was very young and expected it to be the dream job, when the reality was a stark contrast. Unfortunately I was left with a bitter taste and I can come across as "in the know" without actually "knowing" how the club is managed in the present tense. Since working for the club I have matured and gained invaluable experience in both Public relations /Marketing and A Diploma in Health and Social Care . I hope that With the work experience I have gained and the contacts I have made within the Rugby League "fraternity" I can better channel my Enthusiasm for Rugby League and Salford and use it positively by applying for a position at the club IF and WHEN a Takeover is completed.

It's always difficult when Blogging about a Passion, Hopefully with The right direction and Skills I will be able to write Positive,Factual and Constructive Articles . The Butcher has got no room to talk. I wouldn't mind but he doesn't even attend matches.

I do and from what I know of the butcher, he speaks from long support and some playing experience.
