It's commendable Louise and very eloquently written from YOUR heart! I understand what you are writing, I understand what you are portraying, however? Here's my say, not as in depth as yours (its late now) but times come to pass when you actually realise no matter how much you WANT something, no matter how much you TRY to make it work or happen you just have to let go. Things and people DON'T and WILL NOT make your imagination and dreams come true! (only a very very small minority lucky select few get that)! I'd rather see Salford go to the wall and I win the lottery to be honest!



Salford RLFC should be a past-time not a life sentence! Just let it be.

Understand your a loyal supporter but you have no idea, not a clue what has gone on and what is still going on behind the scenes! There are meetings going on everyday to get this situation resolved and it sounds like you expect the club to make all of what is said public! There is one of the most powerful companies in the country currently negotiating a takeover and you expect them to keep you fully informed

My advice would be chill out sit back and when there is some news im sure it will be made public.

And we haven't had for around thirty years.



No one is expecting a full break down of any negotiations taking place, but a bit of honesty about what's going on and even the briefest updates to say roughly where we're up to would be nice. Tell you what, how about season ticket info, shirt info and so on?



I've heard that there's a lot of good things happening behind the scenes as staff get on with life, whilst negotiations go on above them, so why can't a few of these things be put out piece by piece as positive info? It would put a few people's minds at ease and lessen the negativity around the club at the moment.

Too be honest I can't be bothered getting into a slanging match with one or two on here, I thought I was being sincere in my words. Obviously I forgot to include the fact that some Salford supporters can be quite frankly Rude and Idiotic.



Regardless of whether you think Im "Every F*cking where" Ive garnered exposure and positive feedback for both my blogs and my articles about The club. All I've ever wanted is positive action from Salford, As GT rightly refered to, Information that is easy to publicise and keeps the supporters in the "loop" .



I have been wisely advised that such Promotion or Rallying cries may not be wanted nor appreciated on this forum, Which is a shame because I thought that was what Scarlet Turkey thrived on?

These blogs and articles are all a bit repetitive in my opinion, but so is the situation they're addressing I suppose. It's clear you care, and most have recognised that, but the self-publicising and 'voice-of-the-supporters' tone of it all does get a bit irksome. I suspect that's the part some people are objecting to.







I'd enjoy your writings more if you maintained this sense of humour.

Trouble is this...



If the Club put out info, the section of Salford support that does nothing but pour out negative vomit would find something else to have a good whine about. If the Club don't put out info the same fans pour out negative vomit. They can't win. So the Club just don't bother, and besides, they shouldn't be spouting left right and centre everything that goes on, especially if it's sensitive stuff.



The big losers here are the genuine fans who would like a nod as to whether they could help or do something positive. Or just reassurance. They get left out of the loop too. They end up having to put up with poorly worded diarrhoea splashed around as 'I told you so's' from the section of fans that seem to treat Salford Reds like it's the Catholic church. It's a Sport. You can stop supporting at any time.



IMO we have possibly the best and worse fans in the SL. Most of the really good fans just don't bother with sites like these. First rule of Internet forums is that people tend only to go on them when things are negative and they are far from representative.



I'll reserve my judgement on the Club when more info is available, but the fact that it isn't at the moment has not got me ready to declare Jihad on JW...



People need to just relax a little...
