Great player in his day but he has now taken too many batterings and his form these past two years has been sketchy to say the least.

Would much prefer young English players to be brought in as Mr Simms said he was going to do.

Delighted if we get Drew for a year at the Giants. Could not give a monkeys about his age. Brett Hodgson has been brilliant for us this year. I would not turn down Peacock and Mozzer because of their age. The oldest player in SL - Menzies - has done a good job at Bradford.



Drew has played in 19 games this year - more than Myler has managed! So age is no barrier there.



You are happy not having him I hope we get him.Your senior guys were desperate to get him - go figure.

Having the odd few class players over the age of 30 is fine when they have a couple of years left but not having half a team of 30 odds playing out their final "retirement" year

I see Drew play every week, he is pretty much one of the best players on the pitch every game. He would have been an excellent signing for you guys on a 1 year deal.
