Another story by Danny Widler in Australia saying that the Sharks CEO has made a direct contact with NB to coach the Sharks next year, seems this story is gaining momentum.

No that says that Irvine was unaware that Brown and Stuart are friends.



To me direct contact is just that - Irvine speaking to Brown. The article says he has requested a third party to talk to him and we all know what recruitment consultants are like!

I think Irvine did go straight to NB, none the less, what do you think, he'll stay or go back to Oz, especially after the flogging the sharks got today, the pressure might be on Ricky, and if true, I think NB's job at the Giants is far from finished as I feel this year looks to be developing into the big one to collect the silverware and beyond. NB strikes me as a committed sort of bloke who won,t up stumps and go.

I would rather wait for an official announcement than listen to Internet gossip.



If Brown was even considering it he would have talked to Ken Davy.

the rumour i heard a fortnight since that both browns off to cronulla next year, but cant see it myself why would NB make such a song and dance about signing brough then leave straight away to me that dont make much sense but have been wrong before and so has my source.
