Great news and a big well done to the lad, but it just shows how poor we are in the halves when a rookie in his first season is the best 6 in Superleague, the question is now will he get the 6 shirt for England.

Definately deserves it! He's been superb and even when things havnt been going his way he still puts in more effort than anyone else on the pitch!!

How can Sam possibly have made the dream team? According to damo-leeds Danny McGuire is the best stand off in the world, and a once in a lifetime player

Well deserved, and what's even better is that we know he should be at Wigan for the rest of his career. It's been a joy to watch him in his debut season, hopefully here's to many more.
