Was ok then but did feel a lump in my throat when I saw how chuffed Sean Ainscough was even though he is leaving. He couldn't have been more thrilled and when they gave him the cup to have his photo taken he looked like he woud explode with pride and I felt really sad for him.

My eye's filled up to be honest, I didn't start but I wasn't far off. I was just chuffed for the lads.

I cried like a baby!!!!!!

A little! Mainly when Fielden went mental with trophy in hand! You could see it meant the world to him.



Seeing Pat Richards and Piggy with the trophy was awesome as well!

I challenge anyone who's followed Wigan intently since we reached such an occasion to tell me they didnt have a tear in their eye! also, watching the rerun on sky where captain lifted the trophy with that unfakeable smile on his face and the immense 'This could be my moment' track by the Verve played at the end of the tv coverage.. Amazing!



Makes all the gash performances over the years and all the money spent travelling here and there well well worth it!



If we win it again within the next 7 years il be chuffed to bits but i have a feeling we could be at Old Trafford/Wembley in the not too distant future!

as has allready been alluded to , any supporter who was there during the highs 80's and 90's then sat through what can be classed as dross more often than not through most of the 00's , we can see that we are now at the base of a steady rising peak of success



the son in law was with me , a newbie in terms of time served , i said to him as we did our victory lap , turn round and look at this crowd , soak this up , its been a long time between drinks

Before the match started when we were warming our voices the first batch of "WIIIIIGAN! WIIIGAN WIIIIGAN WIIIIGAN" gave me goosebumps. Was good to see 30,000 wiganers singing as one in the East.

Am a 26 year old girl & not only did I cry last night but also when we had made it at Leeds last week!! It's took so long in comin & I personally still can't believe that we are the CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cried before kick off, I cried at HT, I cried at the end of the match, I cried again this morning waiting for the players, then did my stupid happy grin when I've watched the match again at the final hooter.
