From Phil Wilkinson of the WEP - Dudson has broken a bone in hand, don't know how long he's out for.

IL said at a meeting that SW wanted 17 props in his squad.

Now we might understand why.

So that's Prescott, Mossop, Lauaki and now Dudson.



To face Widnes we are looking at Flower, Crosby, Taylor and probably Spencer.

They may well have to go the three games over Easter too, that's if there aren't any more injuries to our props.

Bloody hell! Good job it's only Widnes....

He looked in some pain when he came over to the fans on Friday and had his arm tucked inside his jacket. That really could be a blow too far in that front row I'm afraid and this injury situation, especially in the front row, is getting beyond a joke now.



Thank god these injuries are happening now and hopefully they'll clear up in the next few weeks. I really do fear for us over Easter though and could see us losing both game against Saints and HKR unless we get a couple of forward back or bring somebody in.

Whilst i agree it is as bad a situation as i can remember injuries wise. We still have a long list of young lads that will get some valuable SL experience.



Its far from being the ideal situation, there is a small silver lining.



It will pay real dividends over the next few years.

Big loss.



Dudson has started the season strongly but this would see to be very bad timing given our other injuries.



A big test for the coach I think because teams will fancy themselves against our weakened pack.



Tactically we may need to be that bit smarter because even with Dudson our pack had a very difficult time against a physical Leeds pack at the weekend.



Im really hoping that Mossop and Eric are going to return sooner rather than later.

Nightmare but to be fair its the first year in a while where we've had a really serious injury crisis.



We've got James Greenwood and Tom Spencer otherwise we'll have to start looking for a loan signing.

Add him to the list, we have a better pack in the stands than in the pitch! When is Lauaki due back?
