| Outside company to run the main bars (cats/foxes) but internal for bottle bars IMO.
there seemed to be loads of catering vans outside the ground both before and after, I've not seen that many before, were they the old caterers trying to make a point?

| Quote jack in the box="jack in the box"I know the last two sets of management at the club were far from perfect but they both quickly realised that getting an outside company in to run the bar and catering was the best option. Both tried running it themselves and quickly realised it was too much grief and effort for the return it provided.
Carter was badly advised and should have kept to the same policy. Its hard enough trying to run a RL club on limited budget and you don't need the distractions and problems of being a catering/bar organisation.'"
Always wondered if this is not an element of the club that could be handed over to and run by the Supporters Trust?
Run it as a separate entity from the club and hand over profits made, which with the volunteers and expertise available should be good - or ask I being naive?

| The rest of the catering wasn't up to scratch either, the burger my mate got was raw! And what happened to the partnership with Pukka pies that we announced a couple of weeks back as we didn't have any pies!?

I thought it was £80 for the season? £8 probably gets you in for the game. I guess when you have such little support there is a tendency/need to extract more from the support you do have.

The food bar in the north west corner was all branded up with pukka signage so I guess they were being served from there.
At the end of the day it was game day one, with a whole new set up, I would have expected some issues and would expect to see a more efficient and well put together offer come game two or three.
I'm not sure what the whole ground plan is but it was a noticeable change up where we were.

| I was in after the match, they sent Wildie in to do the after game interview thing. Felt sorry for poor lad having to apologise when he didn't even play.

I'd be well p!ssed off if I was Wildie. Signs on for less money when the club wss on the brink and has now been overlooked two games on the bounce. I'm sure he'll get a shot in the hopeless task next week before being ditched again for the Catalans home match.
