What happened?

Only 2 staff on in cats bar before game, talk about throwing money away and ensuring people don't use it in the future,

I personally think the club has got this one wrong

Also could not get back into the ground. Everyone had to go back outside and then back in through a side gate.



A total mess, having to show stewards where the ticket had been torn out of the book! Anyone who paid cash was not given a ticket so could not get in .



Money up in smoke through p poor planning.



Shan't be returning anytime soon.

Unforgivable when you've paid but first game day of a new administration, it won't happen again.

Some were allowed to go out of back door if they had a "certain" ticket,(not season ticket).



As stated,then back out to que up to get back in to ground.



Not the best start to an embarrasing night.



Did'nt look like many took up the £8 entry fee for fox bar,surprise surprise.

I usually get into the ground an hour early for a few pints and a bite to eat but may have to come up with new plan.



The private bar idea just won't work and needs a rethink judging by the number of people in there. 8 quid is a joke to pay on the door.



Couldnt find a draft beer anywhere. Asked the young girl for a pie and she didnt know which flavour was which in the oven.



At the main food counter there was a massive wait for hot water. The bulls fan in front of me ordered steak pie and peas only to be told there were no peas. He then ordered just a steak pie and was then told there were no pies either!



The food and drink last year was really good and im aware that changes needed to be made but lets take some learning out of last night and improve things before the cas game as we dont want to give that lot any ammunition to take the p! Ss.



Rather not speak about the performance. Worst since magic weekend.

I know the last two sets of management at the club were far from perfect but they both quickly realised that getting an outside company in to run the bar and catering was the best option. Both tried running it themselves and quickly realised it was too much grief and effort for the return it provided.



Carter was badly advised and should have kept to the same policy. Its hard enough trying to run a RL club on limited budget and you don't need the distractions and problems of being a catering/bar organisation.

I tend to agree. The current incumbents may have needed replacing but the contract should have been put out to tender, the 'do it yourself' option is a pain in the backside the club doesn't need. And last nights showing has now probably done it more harm than good, many won't bother in future.

Outside company to run the main bars (cats/foxes) but internal for bottle bars IMO.

there seemed to be loads of catering vans outside the ground both before and after, I've not seen that many before, were they the old caterers trying to make a point?

Always wondered if this is not an element of the club that could be handed over to and run by the Supporters Trust?



Run it as a separate entity from the club and hand over profits made, which with the volunteers and expertise available should be good - or ask I being naive?
