He meant Jase is taking the flack for the players he captains giving needless penalties.
I always thought JD was best when he bounces off tiring defenders, runs across the line putting runners away and runs wide looking for a winger to come inside him. At the moment it's 80 minutes of crash balls and tough tackling midfield that has never really been his forte. I'd personally use him as an impact player like we do Hendo. |

Yeah straight swap for a 2nd rower etc, we'll be winning 16-0 etc 25 minutes gone and JD comes on the pitch fresh as a daisy - wham! Bradford did a similar thing against us. Platt came in field, ran hard and straight at our tiring defence a few times. What I thought I saw was his enthusiasm turning the game. |
