I think I'm preaching to the converted (and one unyielding tool) here but it's not like the money freed up from these players going out is going to sit there doing nothing - it's going to go towards bringing in new playing staff, and securing contracts and longer term development of other players - especially our youngsters. It's always a shame to lose certain players, but that's how sport works and we'll just have to bring in (or have brought in) other people to do a job for the team. JK is no fool, unlike the originator of this thread...

You go on about Richardson, but I am pretty sure it will be JK who has the say over what players he wants and doesn't want. Richardson will more than likely advise over balancing the books etc, inform about budget etc... but surely JK will be the one who says yes or no to players.

JK is very realistic when it comes to what we can and cannot afford. He knows the value available to him and works extremely well with Ted in making that money stretch where we want it to go - without busting the bank. It's part of what makes JK the right man for us!

Who says he is going to be a quality stand off?



I remember after the Saints game at home, many on here were slating him, including you I believe. I wouldn't make that judgement untill I had seen him have an extended run at that position.



I don't know the circumstances surrounding Grix going to Huddersfield but I think he will find his chance of playing at 6 very slim. I think he will be used as utility player to fill gaps, probably play half the season in the reserves. If it's his choice I think he is making a big mistake career wise. Only time will tell I suppose.
