How poor are george and penny, they are both good for one thing an interception pass and running the length of the field once a blue moon. Penny contstanly comes off his wing in defence and leaves a massive gap. We miss Blanch!!!

Hopefully Murph will be fit next week and we can put him back in to centre and move george to the wing and Penny can go back to the reserves (although after their win at Sts he might not get a game there either)

Thought he played last night in the reserves but i may be wrong.



Penny does try he's just not very good and i would not pick him.

What exactly did George do wrong, I've watched the game twice now and I can't see it. Leave him at centre why should Murphy walk straight in. This is becoming silly now, just because he showed some loyalty does not make him a messiah, he's been OK this season but no better than the rest - we are mixing sentiment with ability here and getting the sums wrong IMO. There will be someone on calling Murphy a legend next.

Agreed. I thought George did ok last night and better than most.

johnson did play in the reserves and played well. can't see why he is not playing first team. prefer him to most of the others strong in defence and willing to work. as for george . thought he did nothing wrong at all. been one of the lads biggest critics but this season he seems to have stepped up to the plate.

Maybe Johnson was taken out of the public glare with news just breaking of him being charged for the assault. If his heads right over the coming weeks he should get another chance as Penny has done nothing to justify inclusion ahead of him.

Don't think Penny did much wrong. He had come in off his wing for their first try, but he had no choice, because it was him against three. Same with the intercept he went for. It was either interception or try, because it was three on one. I think he blew the run-out from behind the line, because there was a huge gap, and he went to go round Wellens rather than just getting onto the field, but I wonder if that would have involved stepping off his weaker foot, because he wasn't facing forward. He fancied stepping around one of the best full backs in the game and got caught.



We missed a bit of oomph up front, that's all. King isn't back to last year's impact, and we were missing Korki and Morrisson.
