Excellent news, they need to get some one with lots of cash to come on board at Wakefield fc, start building our local football club.. lets get Wakefield fc on sporting map too..

Will they still play there after we move on to Newmarket?

They're planning on coming along.

Mate of mine runs a team in the Wakefield area and they are looking to progress through the leagues. Got a famous name on board and looking for potential sponsors going forward. Watch this space

I will be going to watch Wakefield FC this season now they're back at belle Vue. Hopefully they'll start building a decent side and move with us to Newmarket & start moving up the football league ladder. You never know with Newmarket given the green light S Parkin and Kitrick might suddenly get bored with Guisley and see if they can put an end to Wakefield been the biggest City without a Football league team

Been going ever since just had a bad run of luck no ground and with hard times no sponsorships or enough but to their credit now pulling through, they put together a team, and now have a ground, they hope to get news sponnsors, and if the football fans get behind the team they can start bringing in better players and push up the league, they won their first friendly last night..

Like Wildcats they are starting nearly from scratch, people will not of heard of some teams, but as they push up the leagues they soon will do...

Ah right,cheers must say i haven't followed non league much since emley left and not heard much of them since, what are the crowds like? Im pretty sure not many locals were bothered in the pre wakefield days.
