| Got to be that stupid ball steal by Kirmond on the 5th tackle on half way! 16-4 up and Saints creating nothing from Wilkins up and unders, so we gift them position on our 20 metre line. From then on we gave Roby repeated reason to hammer us until Saints had taken control of the game.
Dumb, dumb, dumb!

| Do you mean knee in the play the ball? Was silly of Kirmond but you could equally say Riley's poor pass into touch with 2 yards away from try line at 16-8. Or Robys ability to spoil a good game.
Ill go with Roby.. Although we didn't perform like we should have in second half. My frustrations with inconsistent refs is what could have been? We could have still lost, even lost by more or we could snuck it or been another nail bitter. Referees can certainly ruin games and be game changers for the detriment

| Frustrating game as I thought we were the better side.
Before the game I said I'd be ok with us competing, once you see how close it was it is then frustrating we didn't get the win.
I would normally have a go at the players giving the penalties away but I felt the ref was very inconsistent today. Even the Sts fans near me were bemused, but of course happy.

| If Riley finds Lynn with the relatively simple pass rather than throwing a brick over his head Wakefield I think go in to win the game.
Don't think we hardly touched the ball for 10 minutes and 2 maybe 3 tries after that.

Probably right, he got hit just as he passed it which caused it to go too high. Spilt second earlier and Lyne had a walk in, providing he caught it obviously.

Very strong comments if he's said that. If he can't back the accusation then I think he's in a little bother with the RFL.

| Saints 1st try came from a scrum awarded after Roby and his touch judge (who was 3 yards away) failed to spot a ball steal.
Saints 3rd and 4th tries came on the back of penalties which we shouldn't have given away but which were no worse than he let Saints get away with several times.
The penalty given and on report for Lomax sliding into Lauitiiti was the most bizarre of all. Not sure what Ali was supposed to do to avoid it.
Some shocking officiating IMO today spoiled a really good game for us. Yes we also made mistakes like the Riley "pass" 3 feet over Lyne's head but given a fair crack I think we'd have actually won that game.

| Roby was even more inept & one-eyed in the second half than he was in the first, and this was after Steve Ganson had been in for a chat? You mean Steve Ganson from St. Helens? Right.....
