I really didn't think you guys had to defend that well, the amount of dropped balls and unforced errors made by Warrington in the first 60 mins in good field position was incredible. Luckily for FC, Warrington only turned up for the last 15/20 mins.



I can probably count on one hand the amount of times the ball went through more than 2 sets of hands, it was really poor to watch. Thorman's kicking game was very poor, no real bite in defence, I think the only plus point is that you now have a player at FB who can take a high ball and look relatively comfortable.

As is the fight to get up for a quick ptb.

watching other teams makes you realise how slow we are in that area.

Does anyone know the tackle count for yesterday?

Yup. Was a good experience to watch all 7 games in Edinburgh objectively and it really did emphasise how bad we are in so many areas of the game that are basic fundamentals.

thorman kicks straight to there players all the time houghton had 1 kick and he made space...

dont know why Houghton Lee and Horne didnt kick more as they are more effective.

2nd half effort was outstanding for about 20 mins, in the end the possession and territory told. Had we have had a few players back or not lost players during the game I think we would have won.

Thormans general play was far from inspiring.



However, i find it difficult to knock his second half kicking display.

He was being asked to kick accuratley from very long distances into a strong wind, not as easy as some of you experts would think.



I haven't seen one grumble regarding the kicking in the first half when we

constantly had them on the back foot and pinned in their own half for long periods. They merely did to us what we did to them.



We tired in the face of a big pack and a strong wind. Nuff !

He's paid a lot of money to be a rugby player with a kicking game and can't find a gap about 40 yards wide. Almost all his kicks in the second half went straight to a man who hardly had to move to catch it on the full. I don't care if it was windy and raining, it's just not good enough.

Thing is, when you kick a ball with little power but masses of height to try and get distance no matter where it goes a player can run and get under it making it more difficult to find a gap. He needs to kick with a less height and more power which i dont think he is capable of.
