Just listened to it. Sounded very articulate and knowledgeable. I hope the Brisbane board don't hear it or we'll lose our very talented coach

I shudder to think what the players make of listening to him at half time having had the cr*p beaten out of them for the previous 40 minutes.

The one thing that rankles me with all coaches, is when they say 'our effort was good today'. Well so it bloody well should be! Putting in the 'effort' should be a given shouldn't it? If the coach came out in the media and said 'us effort wasn't there today' it'd be even more perplexing! I also thought that Rich didn't do himself any favours by saying 'we lost the same three fixtures last year but went on to do well, so if we repeat that we'll be ok'. That's not what you want to hear from your coach - we should be looking at beating Rovers, Leeds and Huddersfield if we have any ambition to be any good! There's a whole mentality around the club which accepts mediocrity far too easily and that ain't good.

was a bit dissapointed when agar mentioned that we'd lost the same three fixtures in corresponding fixtures last season,(replace kr with quins @ murrayfield) which to me shows we've made no improvement and he's admitting it himself basically, hoping to win the odd fixture we dididn't win last season, hardly filling us with confidence is he?

That was my point. Shouldn't we have been trying to win those three games instead of saying 'Oh well, we lost those fixtures last year but NEARLY made the top four'. Sums it all up for me.

No he 's just desperately looking for positives. This is the sort of statement you would normally hear from James Rule.
