I always thought the deadline was 5pm Friday for registering a signing. I'm sure we've had instances in the past where a player signs on Friday and plays that weekend. Would have liked him to have a game under his belt before the derby

• Squad announcements will be made by 2pm on the appropriate day.

• Clubs cannot announce players who are not both correctly registered with the RFL and confirmed as a member of a club’s first team squad.
