| Despite the scoreline being very close for most of the game I think we were much the better team and the final scoreline was more representative of that dominance. If we could just convert more of the chances we create we would be much higher up the table. Still dont think our defence on our own line is good enough to trouble the top teams but we were much better than Rovers today.

| Still worrying that we can't open up the opposition defence even with masses of posession in good field position. Game should have been over after 60 minutes

| As I said on the match thread:
Often when a team scores late on you might say the scoreline flatters the winners. Today it more actually reflected the game. One of the best offloads I have ever seen from Manu and great games from Yeaman and Briscoe.

Great to win but you have a good point. In the first 20 of the second half bar Fox's run, I dont think Rovers even got into our half. However, on another day those three no trys may have been scored.

Manu's offload to Yeamo was reminiscent of a Jason Smith offload to Tony Smith against Wakefield at BelleVue.

Correct. Thinking about it, it wasnt just Manu's offload but the whole piece of play, storming run, attracts 4 defenders, basketball handling, takes the tackle, doesn't pass to Briscoe who looks really peeved and then slips the ball to Yeamo, cue change of expression from Tom.

| I agree. Our fowards absolutely dominated their pack and a 2 or 4point victory wouldn't have given a true reflection of the game.
We need to be more clinical near the oppositions line but I think that will hopefully come. It might be out of desperation but this season we have tried to throw the ball around and offload and not be so conservative although at times we still take the wrong options.
I thought Rovers play of the ball was still a lot quicker than ours and some of our distribution from dummy half is still really slow we need to work on these areas for me.

| That sport for you sometime thing come off sometime there don't
It was a matter of inches that the tries were not scored
On another day there would have been scored and Hull would have won by a bigger score
But let be Happy and enjoy our win don't

On another day we might have lost because we can't turn pressure into points

We did turn pressure into points - we scored 6 tries and 36 points, which is enough to win 19 out of 20 games.
I agree we could have scored more points though.
TBH I was more bothered about the number of times we dropped the ball and the fact that Rovers' first try came from an unforced error and their second one on the back of a penalty we gave away.
