Opened out his heart to the Daily Star, tried to top himself this September. Could have been one of the greats if he kept his head screwed on at Hull, seems to have gone downhill from there.

Its a shame that his career came to this but I cannot find any sypmathy for Gareth. His internet scam was the start of his down fall and greed got the better of him. I'm pleased that he has sorted his life out and now he should put his experiences to good use and get around local schools and youth clubs etc and tell young kids on how to keep clean and to avoid crime. Its good to see that he had strong loving people around him to pull him back from the brink.

i heard a differing explanation from an ex bulls player who calls where i work as a rep if his version is true its a fair size worse than a sleeping pill addiction that got him the boot either way he was a class act at his peak and hope he turns his life round

Nobody is requiring you to forgive anything, and even the article doesn't blame anyone but Raynor himself for his downfall. However, I do have a certain amount of sympathy for pretty much anyone who gets into such a state that they contemplate or attempt suicide - even if only for the effect that would have on their family and friends. |
