According to our Dobbin friends Ellis is an overpaid has been. Seems people in the know don't think so

I couldn't care less what Rovers fans or any other fans from other teams think about Ellis, all that matters really is the opinion of Peter Gentle and the rest of the coaching staff.

He's a world class player and the fact is that no one barring a few people will know what Ellis is earning at Hull.

Its a three horse race, and I personally wouldn't have a bet on a single game 2 months before it kicks off, lots of things happen between now and then

I think 5th favourite is about right for us next season (behind Wire, Wigan, Saints & Leeds) though I'd hope we can get past one of those to finish 4th in the table, the playoffs after that are a lottery.



Sadly I think the lack of a good no7 will prevent us going higher.

its really 2 tho and in my experience take a half point start at bookies doesnt change the odds much hull good early season team leeds not, leeds world club challenge, hull not and yes lots can happen but at 3 to 1 hull are a good bet irrelevant what could or couldnt happen things can happen the day of the game its betting you just look for the value this is value. You lot made me alot of money the last 2 years with your early season form 5to2 to beat saints stands out.

3-1 is not 11-4



I don't dispute that 11-4 might represent good value for you, but personally I don't see the point of making a match bet when I know nothing about injuries, weather conditions, at this stage.



Also, bookies love punters that disregard the draw and see it as a two horse race, by far the best result all round for them.

William hill fancy us even more they are quoting very skinny odds of 8/1 for us to win the GF for anyone interested KR are quoted at 80/1

plus 10 on the handicap, reckon I'll have a ton on that myself. Printing money.

And only 8/1 to win the Challenge Cup with Skybet.

Maybe b'cos AP was mentioning it as a target a few weeks ago.



As for the 11/4 against Leeds, that'll be a very similar price come February 1. They've priced it up early and I can't see it fluctuating very much.
