I know it's been mentioned on here and in the wail, but has the club made any official announcement about taking over city's old training ground on County Road? Has pearson bought it? Is the intention it will just be for the 1st team or are the academy teams moving there? Hopefully the academy set up will stay at BB but wouldn't be surprised if we're not now city are there. as i've said on another thread I am a but suspicious, because if Pearson has bought the County Road site surely the club would be making a big deal of how much of a big investment they've made in the clubs future...they are never usually this quiet!

I thought we were supposed to be getting a state of the art training ground a couple of seasons ago,and this is what we have ended up with the old ideal standard ground. I thought we were supposed to be progressing, still COYH,good luck for the coming season.

Hull fc have had quite a few training facilities over the years. IIRC I can remember one near the old Boulevard ?, Ionians ground, Bishop Burton, YPI now County road. Have I missed any ?

Pretty sure its been sold for houses to be built on the site.

It's not all housing, I think you'll find there is already a new fully grassed rugby pitch already for use which belongs to FC/Pearson there right now. I think the changing facilities are yet to be complete. There are other pitches yet to be finished

Seeing as its a building site at the moment maybe they are just waiting until its finished to announce it.

The planning application was for 4 mini pitches for the juniors. FC/Pearson will just be "custodians" for the site.

Will suit us seen as we play in a mini pitch at the KC
