I'm gonna be making the trip from Hudds to Widnes for this one, my first game at the Stobbart. How much will it cost to get in? Is it around £15? Also, was thinking to bring my three year old along, is it free entry for little uns? I've actually picked this game over going to watch the Giants at Siants, was planning on doing both but funds said otherwise.
Should be good though, also what is the best stand to sit in? Atmosphere wise.

We'll be glad to have you and the little un over here Anwar. Entrance should be £14 or £15 (not sure as I have a season ticket).
If you can get here early enough pre game you can grab a £2 discount from the club shop which is in the town centre easily accessed from the ASDA car park ( www.widnesvikings.co.uk/page.php?id=635 )- the little un may not be seen at the turnstyle by a less than observant operator  !
The ground is left from ASDA and at the 3rd set of lights turn right.
Best bet for finding things out in full such as if the discount applies if purchased on match day etc - call the club on 0151 495 2250 or the shop on 0151 420 7227.
North Stand is best for atmosphere.
Gotta ask - why this game over the Giants game?

Why Widnes...well I was planning to go to both the the Hudds game and also Vikings, but when I thought about it it seemed a bit extravagant, so since I had already bought my train ticket to Widnes naturally it was the winner. I've had a soft spot for Widnes ever since I first got into Rugby league, my dad's cousin played for the club so theres a bit of family history with it too. Coming from London, my opportunity to go and watch a game in Widnes wasn't there but now I live up north..why not?  |

Hope you enjoy the game - well you and me both.
As said already, North Stand is best for Atmosphere, although you do have to bear in mind that the drummer sits somewhere around the middle of the North Stand. I don't mind the drummer, but some prefer to sit as far away from it as possible lol.
