Ditto, tighten that defence up a bit more and we'll be looking alright.

| Very happy with the two points but it still wasn't a great performance.
Our finishing in the first 60 mins I thought was pretty impressive, after that once the game was won we seemed to want to score off every play instead of been patient. Welham was excellent, ran some great lines and saw alot more ball I thought than usual. Briscoe I thought looked good to after his long lay off.
On the other hand, too many silly penalties conceded again, far too many errors with ball in hand and some poor defence in our own 20m.

| Ball in hand I thought Rovers were good today, not brilliant but it looked like it was clicking for most of the game. Defensively we still look vulnerable, and a better, more composed side than Bradford would have scored another 2-3 tries.
Briscoe brings a bit more organisation to the defence, but the most disapointing try we conceded was the hit & spin effort on our line in the 2nd half. We are still too soft in the forwards. I was also annoyed at the lazy marker defence who got pinged for not being square on a number of occasions yesterday. This was one area of the game which Silverwood was at least consistent. Still, I would have taken that before kick off and its something to build on for Friday at Salford.

| We won by a decent margin, ok Bradford where gash but we've lost to some gash teams this year so this was an improvement. small steps in the right direction will all go towards a better 2nd half to the year. Still think we'll struggle to make much of an inroad into the league but if we can get through Friday maybe we can build towards having a real go at the cup.

| Was saying at the game it's hard to imagine Bradford were world champions just five years ago. What the hell has happened to that club. How McNamara got the England job on the back of his performance as coach of Bradford I will never know.
Credit to the 200-300 who gave their support yesterday though, bet all those finals and trophies from 97-05 seem a million miles away for them now.

Must be a bit of a sickener for the chairman, he's invested a lot of cash to sell off the passes cheap to get the fans in and unfortunately on the back of this years performances it might have put a few off going at all.

Yeah definitely. Also feel it's a sad sign of how far they've fallen - years ago they were getting 13,000-15,000 every home game with most people paying full price. People praising their crowds this season on the VT, but tbf a lot of clubs (ourselves inc) would probably get five-figures every game if we let people in for the equivalent of a fiver a match!

said the same thing yesterday, Bradford was a team you hated playing, the wingers looked like forwards, they was immense (boring team to watch though) feel for the Bradford fans, just goes to show a fall from grace can come pretty quick, was they that bad? saw them last week in the cup game, and i thought they was terrible then, but thought they couldnt possibly play that bad again? Good coach needed there, (after FC have recruited one first though )

Laughably bad, I almost had tears in my eyes at one point.
End of the first half and we more or less place the ball in our own twenty metre area (I can't remember how, but it was something ridiculous) and invite them to score. The final play they had about a three man over lap and managed not to score despite us doing our best to let them by falling over each other, tripping up and falling asleep. Bradford's completion rate cannot have been higher than about 35%.
